Will Haynes started his career in the UK film industry as a runner on high-profile feature films, before progressing to various supporting roles (such as production assistant, producer’s assistant, assistant coordinator and assistant director- many different terms for fetching coffee from Starbucks), while directing and producing independent music videos and short films, before absconding to travel and write. He has completed two books- ‘Shoot The Runner’ (a novel), and 'Life & Other Problems' (a collection of loosely connected short stories). He is currently undertaking his next novel- while hoping to get the others published at some point in the not-too-distant future. He has had short stories published in Gem Street: Collectors Edition and the To Hull & Back Anthology. His short story ‘The People’s Republic’ was awarded The Diamond Award in The Labello Press International Short Story Competition and has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize, one of America’s most prestigious literary platforms. Because of this, he is now unbearable to be around.
